This icon system was focused on simplifying wayfinding within national and state parks. Designed with clarity and function in mind, this set distills six common outdoor activities; kayaking, RV-ing, tent camping, mountain hiking, campfires, and wildlife observation.

Inspired by existing iconography used in parks and recreation signage, this reinterpretation uses a stripped-down, black + white palette and circular frames to unify the set.

Each icon was developed using geometric forms and strong silhouettes, ensuring clarity even at small sizes or when viewed quickly in passing.

Whether used for signage, maps, mobile apps, or educational materials, these icons provide a simple, memorable way to guide visitors and celebrate the essence of outdoor adventure.
